MORE ABOUT 17 MIDLAND ROAD

17 Midland Road is a project by Barney Beech - partner at the design practice Burgess & Beech - and novelist Charlotte Philby. Downstairs 17 Midland Road is an HQ for Barney’s design practice, as well as a gallery and exhibition space for culture, collaborations, new ideas and community.

Upstairs is a larger gallery, and a unique place to stay in one of Bristol’s most diverse and historic neighbourhoods. Long forgotten but constantly evolving, Old Market is home to independent shops, the LGBTQ village, cultural institutions and plenty of rebel energy.
